Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. When C.S.D Punta Ballena's Boguslaw Dziedelonis in the 2nd minute got a chance for a shot 2nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Boguslaw Dziedelonis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boguslaw Dziedelonis went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute Alvino Blanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.S.D Punta Ballena's Boguslaw Dziedelonis got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Boguslaw Dziedelonis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Alvino Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.S.D Punta Ballena's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvino Blanco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Dziedelonis in the 39th minute of the match. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boguslaw Dziedelonis in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Dziedelonis in the 44th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Boguslaw Dziedelonis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Boguslaw Dziedelonis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.S.D Punta Ballena were winning 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Boguslaw Dziedelonis to strike the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Boguslaw Dziedelonis sent off a good shot on target. 55 minutes into the match, Boguslaw Dziedelonis notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Efrain Moruga made in the 59th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eliseo Noboa. C.S.D Punta Ballena's Jorre Van De Beeck was substituted for Feliciano Fito. Terciero Francos might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Terciero Francos ran back to his position shaking his head. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! 0-8 came in the 71st minute when Terciero Francos all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. 75 minutes into the game, C.S.D Punta Ballena's Terciero Francos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Terciero Francos might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Terciero Francos ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Terciero Francos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Terciero Francos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Terciero Francos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. Terciero Francos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terciero Francos in the 90th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Terciero Francos took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. After 94 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terciero Francos in the 96th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Terciero Francos made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. When the match was over C.S.D Punta Ballena could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
