Ivar Unesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Karl-Oskar Håning sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ecuador's Julio Vera didn't even have to move. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivar Unesson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivar Unesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Unesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glenn Olsen in the 24th minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Glenn Olsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glenn Olsen in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. When Sånna goa grejer FC's Glenn Olsen in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Karl-Oskar Håning received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Karl-Oskar Håning slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Sånna goa grejer FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montenegro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. George Kilberg hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes, Michael Svanberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sånna goa grejer FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Sånna goa grejer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Svanberg to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Glenn Olsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Sånna goa grejer FC's goalkeeper Ivar Unesson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 51 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivar Unesson. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 54 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Glenn Olsen came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Sånna goa grejer FC were awarded a corner. Karl-Oskar Håning went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Sånna goa grejer FC's corner Karl-Oskar Håning fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. In the 58th minute, Glenn Olsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivar Unesson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ivar Unesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Sånna goa grejer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Kilberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes, Sånna goa grejer FC's Karl-Magnus Henriksson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sånna goa grejer FC reached it. Ivar Unesson made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 78th playminute. After a rather tough play, Sånna goa grejer FC's Eduard Herescu got a free kick in the 88th minute. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
