After a rather tough play, De hijgende Hertjes's Sebastian Dulka got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Steen Müür made a huge save. Sebastian Dulka might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Dulka ran back to his position shaking his head. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Dulka in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Leendert Zuurman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De hijgende Hertjes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. In the 20th minute, Leendert Zuurman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Ronny Koole hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. Steen Müür showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, De hijgende Hertjes's King Sputore got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Milagros Cabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Steen Müür tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steen Müür showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 41st minute. It was a well-played corner which Milagros Cabal managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. King Sputore hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Dulka was the one to do the kick off. Steen Müür took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteban Carvallo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Steen Müür didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Steen Müür came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Dulka in the 62nd minute of play. Edmundo Espiga scored 2-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Steen Müür, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steen Müür saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steen Müür didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Edmundo Espiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Steen Müür having to make a save. After 77 played minutes De hijgende Hertjes got a freekick which was hit by Isac Dichiseanu. Sebastian Villa took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Steen Müür. Steen Müür dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 84 minutes into the match, Sebastian Dulka notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Steen Müür saved De hijgende Hertjes from getting behind. In the 92nd minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Steen Müür. De hijgende Hertjes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Sebastian Dulka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. There was no doubt that Honduras were the better team. Honduras's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
