Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Kusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mano Dios in the 15th minute of play. Haiti's Ernso Constant managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Enrique Mitxaut in the 20 minute of the game. 21 minutes in the game Americo Boniel did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Generoso Goren. In the 22nd match minute, Haiti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Marie Alcius to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Kusko in the 23rd minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gesner Philippe hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Mano Dios scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Seide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Alphonse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Marie Alcius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mano Dios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes in the game Enrique Mitxaut did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Mano Dios. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Saint Jean Pierre hit a great ball. Jonathan Alphonse struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Emilio Bikendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haiti. Noel Seide didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urbano Kusko went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Conrado Delfino kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Urbano Kusko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noel Seide was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Jonathan Alphonse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haiti's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Alphonse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Bikendi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haiti's Jean Marie Alcius managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Americo Boniel in the 89 minute of the game. Clodoveo Gamus's late challenge caught a Haiti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clodoveo Gamus helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Clodoveo Gamus hit a great ball. The Haiti supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's performance.
