Emilio Bikendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finlay Stair in the 15th minute of play. Jarell Hill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emilio Bikendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Finlay Stair, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's Isidoro Mino managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Javan Develder in the 33 minute of the game. In the 36th minute, Americo Boniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jamaica's Leron Sale managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Enrique Mitxaut in the 38 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Javan Develder got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 43 played minutes DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Kusko. With a little luck, DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's Emilio Bikendi got control of the ball when Finlay Stair tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The wind increased when Finlay Stair made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Jamaica's zone, Mano Dios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal and Mano Dios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Javan Develder hit a great ball. After 59 minutes of play, DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's Urbano Kusko made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javan Develder didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute Urbano Kusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Finlay Stair left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jamaica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's Emilio Bikendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarell Hill in the 76th minute of play. When Romon Oliver fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Romon Oliver a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romon Oliver to maneuver through the defense. When Americo Boniel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. After 91 played minutes DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA got a freekick which was hit by Americo Boniel. Jarell Hill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Jamaica were the better team. Jamaica's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
