Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. Steen Müür showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, De hijgende Hertjes's Fang Yu Chong got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 28th match minute, De hijgende Hertjes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martien Adriaanse to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Puig in the 32nd minute of play forced De hijgende Hertjes's goalkeeper Steen Müür to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Dulka's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. If Isac Dichiseanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After having played for 58 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Steen Müür made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 65 played minutes De hijgende Hertjes got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Koole. De hijgende Hertjes's Isac Dichiseanu got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Dulka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Dulka in the 75th minute of play. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Sebastian Dulka sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 86th minute, Sebastian Dulka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. Isac Dichiseanu's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isac Dichiseanu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, De hijgende Hertjes's Isac Dichiseanu got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 played minutes, De hijgende Hertjes's King Sputore shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in De hijgende Hertjes reached it. If Sebastian Dulka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that De hijgende Hertjes were the better team. De hijgende Hertjes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
