Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Pehlivanköy's Akil İslam started the match with a crisp pass. The supporters of Pehlivanköy booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Devlet Yaver having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Devlet Yaver showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Dziurowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Pehlivanköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Torrea didn't get a good kick on the ball.
