The audience was convinced that Aureliusz Kalinowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliusz Kalinowski's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After the first half Peru were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aureliusz Kalinowski made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sons of anarchy's zone, Eliseo Mina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lennart Kempeneers came out of the goal and Eliseo Mina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 91 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Nuno in the 93rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Dominik Pahucki in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. The Sons of anarchy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
