The crowd rose to their feet as Rafal Zagrobelny kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. Rafal Zagrobelny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The White Star WK's Peng Xu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 25th minute of play. Peng Xu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Peng Xu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 30th minute of play. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camilo Canor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

The supporters of Peru booed when The White Star WK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Kiszkiel didn't get a good kick on the ball.
