Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spencer Holder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spencer Holder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spencer Holder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Spencer Holder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of the match. After some careless play in the S.D. Bajen defense, Agustín Saelices kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Spencer Holder. The S.D. Bajen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Spencer Holder should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute, Adrian Nicolae fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Julio Vera, passed just outside the right post. Spencer Holder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Sebastián Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spencer Holder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of S.D. Bajen's Spencer Holder. Spencer Holder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lincoln Hand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Spencer Holder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when S.D. Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lincoln Hand didn't get a good kick on the ball. On his own Adrian Nicolae managed to get through Ecuador's defense and was going for a shot in the net, but Julio Vera lunged to the right and managed in the last second get hold of the ball before it was to late. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lincoln Hand to strike the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lincoln Hand in the 52nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Spencer Holder, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lincoln Hand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Rodrigo in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, S.D. Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Rodrigo to maneuver through the defense. Luis Andino might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Spencer Holder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Andino ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Spencer Holder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. S.D. Bajen's Korey Benedict was substituted for João Rodrigo. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lincoln Hand in the 73rd minute of play. The attack was good, but when Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Cristian Sancho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With his leg Spencer Holder managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 82nd minute, Lincoln Hand made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. S.D. Bajen's Spencer Holder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save S.D. Bajen from getting a goal against them. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Lincoln Hand came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Spencer Holder. That made the score 1-3 after 92 minutes of play.
