Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. But to his dismay, Clarismundo Marchisio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 7th minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Claudio Valcareggi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 9th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Claudio Valcareggi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Claudio Valcareggi could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrico Albertosi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute Domenico De Rubeis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Alessio Difesa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico De Rubeis in the 36th minute of play. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Domenico De Rubeis sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, all players for sale's Domenico De Rubeis got a free kick in the 54th minute. Claudio Valcareggi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clarismundo Marchisio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico De Rubeis in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of all players for sale booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the all players for sale players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
