Thanks to some nice moves Andy Cole could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Pedro Manzanares however easily saved by the left post. In the 11th minute, Carlos Fernando Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santino Seco during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pedro Manzanares was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Carlos Fernando Azevedo. Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Lokon Pøhl succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 24th playminute. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Zjawin in the 33rd minute of the match. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Lokon Pøhl scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guto Gamarra during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Floresta Negra FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Guto Gamarra hit a great ball. Axel Montenegro, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Egun Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Egun Pais threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 56thth minute of the game Santino Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Santino Seco sped through Floresta Negra FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Egun Pais. Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski was substituted for Andy Cole. After having played for 60 minutes, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 63 played minutes Floresta Negra FC got a freekick which was hit by Jardel Lewandowski. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Mastache couldn't finish the play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerzy Zjawin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Egun Pais managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Colombia's Abram Secada fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 89th minute, Colombia's Abram Secada ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Egun Pais. Egun Pais yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lokon Pøhl during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Lokon Pøhl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egun Pais was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ignacio Mastache showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 96 minute of play. The Floresta Negra FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Colombia's performance. The match ended with a win for Colombia.
