In the 9thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Romulo Viator was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 13th minute of play forced OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Romulo Viator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romulo Viator was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Romulo Viator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Su Shu Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaká Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Romulo Viator reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Su Shu Zhen came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Su Shu Zhen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 28 minute of play. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romulo Viator. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Viator saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Su Shu Zhen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Su Shu Zhen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 46th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Su Shu Zhen in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. If Lenílson Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Romulo Viator got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Carneiro came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Kevyn De Bruyne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Ecuador's Luis Andino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Kaká Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Carneiro in the 73rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ren Xiang Xun went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Romulo Viator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute Su Shu Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Romulo Viator had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by OTTO FC - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Cristian Sancho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Romulo Viator quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Carneiro came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaká Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
