Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jens-Ola Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, The Skates's Robert Bugajski got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 9th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ola Lund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. After 11 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 13th minute, when The Skates's Kjell Fribäck after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Jonathan Ferrant in Venezuela's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. When Kjell Fribäck fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Skates's protests and gave Kjell Fribäck a yellow card for diving instead. The Skates's attack was well implemented in the 18th minute, but when Edgar Degas was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 23rd minute, The Skates's Gustav Hybbert dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jens-Ola Lund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edgar Degas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Lund having to interfere. Gustav Hybbert in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 38 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Gustav Hybbert made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Jens-Ola Lund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustav Hybbert.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustav Hybbert was the one to do the kick off. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Lund having to interfere. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Vilhelm Karlstedt scored 4-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vilhelm Karlstedt in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 69th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Gustav Hybbert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ola Lund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes, Gustav Hybbert made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Gustav Hybbert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Ola Lund made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in The Skates's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Ola Lund came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Karlstedt in the 93rd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Skates.
