The GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yanko Pirov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Giro Campomanes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Giro Campomanes sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Venezuela's Joshua Secada getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Giro Campomanes came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giro Campomanes in the 47th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 played minutes GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL got a freekick which was hit by Tauro Amorebieta. After having played for 73 minutes, Wincent Furgat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wincent Furgat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. When GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's Giro Campomanes in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hanot Blanco tried in the 80th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Yanko Pirov a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 3-1. After 83 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaizka Jaraba in the 85th minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tirso Zamora to maneuver through the defense. GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's Yanko Pirov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL from getting a goal against them. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL had played much better football throughout.
