In the 4th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robin Olsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Robin Olsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 9thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Djurgården Sthlm's Robin Olsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juan Sebastián Puig was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Leon Topolski kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robin Olsen skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Kaloyan Dimovski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Djurgården Sthlm's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaloyan Dimovski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Djurgården Sthlm's Robin Olsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of play. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robin Olsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Djurgården Sthlm were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joakim Häll took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Joakim Häll got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Robin Olsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Robin Olsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 44 played minutes Djurgården Sthlm got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Orbán. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robin Olsen. Robin Olsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaloyan Dimovski in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaloyan Dimovski went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Kaloyan Dimovski took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After a rather tough play, Djurgården Sthlm's Cyprian Dytrych got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Olsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Orbán came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Gösta Moberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Robin Olsen made a huge save. After 80 minutes Djurgården Sthlm's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. 83 minutes into the match, Djurgården Sthlm's goalkeeper Robin Olsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro.
