Göktürk Semin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Axel Montenegro put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Göktürk Semin. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 92ndth minute of the game Gregorio Ruiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
