Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinu Oardă came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Lucila, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Oardă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Cristian Sancho heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 11th minute Victor Lucila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Lucila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Juan Sebastián Puig put in a rough tackle. Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Victor Lucila:s penalty. Primitivo Andino made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Felix Montenegro immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinu Oardă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Victor Lucila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 41 minutes, Victor Lucila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Lucila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ernest Oprescu hit a great ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Frumușanu in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Daniel Zorita fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Daniel Zorita a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Julio Vera had in the 62ndth minute some difficulties stopping Victor Lucila's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Victor Lucila got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-1. Ernest Oprescu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Primitivo Andino made in the 77th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Montenegro. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Edwin 雷岩 managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Primitivo Andino in the 80 minute of the game. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Victor Lucila got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-2. If Liviu Frumușanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Lucila in the 96th minute. Victor Lucila who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 98thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Ecuador's much stronger midfield.
