In the 59thth minute of the game Lokon Pøhl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Lokon Pøhl came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 63rd minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. Peru were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Floresta Negra FC to leave the ground with a draw.
