Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Mats Hurtig took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Hurtig in the 17th minute of the match. Talip Bayezit came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcos Cotilla could save by the left post. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Talip Bayezit's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Talip Bayezit sped through Panama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Hurtig in the 41st minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Ellen Bow Bojs's Jagad Man nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After having played for 51 minutes, Talip Bayezit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ellen Bow Bojs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Talip Bayezit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mats Hurtig scored 5-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Hurtig in the 59th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Hurtig, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 66 played minutes Ellen Bow Bojs got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Eriksson. Isidoro Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Caracakingo Hermansson made a huge save. Mats Hurtig took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Talip Bayezit in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Panama booed when Ellen Bow Bojs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenny Hedvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caracakingo Hermansson having to interfere. Jagad Man kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Ellen Bow Bojs's Sixten Palmquist. But to his dismay, Sixten Palmquist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Leonard Wahlström kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Panama's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
