Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Seco made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, VC Merchtem's Isaac Vito got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Filiph Klemensson came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Silvio Estebe hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Isaac Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filiph Klemensson. VC Merchtem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvio Estebe in the 26th minute. The supporters of VC Merchtem booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Vito, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 32nd match minute, VC Merchtem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignace Stroobans to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the VC Merchtem defense, Francisco Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filiph Klemensson. The VC Merchtem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filiph Klemensson should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Romain Lanckneus in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Bruno Beldad. The VC Merchtem players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uruguay were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaac Vito was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filiph Klemensson came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Escribano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 63rd minute, Silvio Estebe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VC Merchtem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Vito in the 67th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Isaac Vito notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimiro Rozarius during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Estebe in the 75th minute of play. Bruno Beldad kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Isaac Vito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaac Vito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. Isaac Vito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VC Merchtem the free kick. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Francisco Seco hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Maximiliano Escribano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute of the match VC Merchtem got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arne Vuerinx ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Arne Vuerinx got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Uruguay had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
