Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Urbano Mas fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dalens Darlings's protests and gave Urbano Mas a yellow card for diving instead. Edgar Mellin's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Mellin helped the player get up and apologised. Edgar Mellin kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Biörnberg having to interfere. Adam Biörnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 23 minutes, Juan Sebastián Puig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Dalens Darlings players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. Adam Biörnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Adam Hajduk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-0. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urbano Mas to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Dalens Darlings getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Karl-Axel Bollström hit a great ball. In the 56th match minute, Dalens Darlings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Mellin to maneuver through the defense. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Montes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 62 played minutes Dalens Darlings got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Mellin. After some careless play in the Dalens Darlings defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adam Biörnberg. The Dalens Darlings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adam Biörnberg should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dalens Darlings made a substitution. Jakob Pihlberg replaced Felix Engström. In the 83rd minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adam Biörnberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 91st minute Karl-Axel Bollström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 94 played minutes Dalens Darlings got a freekick which was hit by Huang Yan Fei. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
