Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Santos Rito made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Ledesma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Fortinducto's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Ledesma came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Fortinducto's Armando Naelio got a free kick in the 6th minute. After some careless play in the Fortinducto defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Braulio Ledesma. The Fortinducto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Braulio Ledesma should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Braulio Ledesma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Ledesma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ecuador's Felix Montenegro in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fortinducto's goalie prevented a goal. In the 28th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Braulio Ledesma was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 30 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. In the 32nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Ledesma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes, Aaron Rosio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fortinducto and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Braulio Ledesma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Braulio Ledesma. Braulio Ledesma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Fortinducto's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Ledesma came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fortinducto's Braulio Ledesma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Ledesma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

In the 52nd minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Braulio Ledesma. Fortinducto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. With his leg Braulio Ledesma managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 58th play minutes Daniel Zorita shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Braulio Ledesma and just under the crossbar into goal. 60 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Fortinducto's Braulio Ledesma. Braulio Ledesma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Braulio Ledesma made a huge save. After some careless play in the Fortinducto defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Braulio Ledesma. The Fortinducto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Braulio Ledesma should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Fortinducto's goalkeeper Braulio Ledesma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After 74 minutes Fortinducto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 76 minutes into the match, Fortinducto's goalkeeper Braulio Ledesma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Braulio Ledesma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 77th minute. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Braulio Ledesma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Braulio Ledesma in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
