Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. Joel Gaona got in the 3rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Roman Matai handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Roman Matai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 6th minute of play forced STAL ST WOLA's goalkeeper Roman Matai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute of the game, Luca Rouco landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Mexico's Jonathan Atenas was substituted for Luca Rouco. Artaç Hendekli kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Luca Zorita took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Matai. Roman Matai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the STAL ST WOLA defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Matai. The STAL ST WOLA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Matai should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Matai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. STAL ST WOLA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Matai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Alberto Tafalla sped through STAL ST WOLA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roman Matai. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 29th minute of play. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Matai having to interfere. Roman Matai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Mancebo's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when STAL ST WOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislaw Domin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41stth minute of the game Lautaro Mancebo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artaç Hendekli in the 42nd minute. After 46 minutes STAL ST WOLA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Michel Batistuta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michel Batistuta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Roman Matai threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 59th minute of play. Roman Matai had great luck who in the 61stth minute grab hold of the ball when Joel Gaona from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 63rd minute, Michel Batistuta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The STAL ST WOLA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great ball. Roman Matai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 69th minute. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Matai saved STAL ST WOLA from getting behind. Roman Matai made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artaç Hendekli in the 88th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zygmunt Bielejewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
