Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Roman Matai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Matai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute Michel Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Matai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, STAL ST WOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Roman Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by STAL ST WOLA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Roman Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, STAL ST WOLA's Boleslaw Nakoneczny got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Arkadiusz Solecki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the game, Michel Batistuta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michel Batistuta made a kick off. With his leg Roman Matai managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roman Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Michel Batistuta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by STAL ST WOLA's Michel Batistuta. But to his dismay, Michel Batistuta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 62 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Michel Batistuta who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Batistuta in the 66th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, STAL ST WOLA's Artaç Hendekli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Batistuta in the 73rd minute of play. When STAL ST WOLA's Michel Batistuta in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artaç Hendekli, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Batistuta in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Mikolaj Lech hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaw Bendyk hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The STAL ST WOLA support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
