Romulo Viator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 25th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaká Carneiro's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by OTTO FC - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Su Shu Zhen in the 39th minute of play. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaká Carneiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Romulo Viator came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Romulo Viator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romulo Viator was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 73 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. Kaká Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Kaká Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. With an all-out effort, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Su Shu Zhen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Mexico's Alberto Tafalla in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalie prevented a goal. Romulo Viator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th match minute, OTTO FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. Romulo Viator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 93rd minute of the match. Mexico were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of OTTO FC - FSCMZ for a fine match.
