With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noel Seide prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Mariotti in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noel Seide saved Haiti from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Ciccio Moscatelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.S.C. NAPOLI's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciccio Moscatelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Seide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Alphonse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Carter Di Nino made a huge save. When Emilio Fioriti fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.S.C. NAPOLI's protests and gave Emilio Fioriti a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to S.S.C. NAPOLI getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Emilio Fioriti hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Edmondo Lepori ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noel Seide was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ernso Constant's late challenge caught a S.S.C. NAPOLI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If Jonathan Alphonse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Alphonse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noel Seide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmondo Lepori in the 93rd minute.
