Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Nicanor Bajuelo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandalio Domingo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hechter Trinidad kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Sandalio Domingo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandalio Domingo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandalio Domingo having to interfere. Sandalio Domingo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Firmin Hurones got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 32 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandalio Domingo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandalio Domingo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tibalt Tanasio to make the kick off. Sandalio Domingo made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Sandalio Domingo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 61st minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Sandalio Domingo. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 64 played minutes ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ got a freekick which was hit by Beltza Galnares. 64 minutes into the game, Zorion Arraña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 64th minute, Zorion Arraña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sandalio Domingo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 77 minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's goalkeeper Sandalio Domingo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Sandalio Domingo when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
