An unexpectedly hard shot by 莫勇剑 in the 5th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, 【TOP】Arsenal ☞蜀山剑侠☜'s goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but 唐森桦 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes, 林剑森 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 【TOP】Arsenal ☞蜀山剑侠☜ and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. 林剑森 kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 齐轩战 hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match Axel Tasis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 唐森桦 skillfully saved the ball. Axel Tasiss short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got 唐森桦 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, 莫勇剑 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 【TOP】Arsenal ☞蜀山剑侠☜'s supporters rose to their feet, but 莫勇剑 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Rubio during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. 莫勇剑 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 罗荣俊's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. 唐森桦 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, 林剑森 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 【TOP】Arsenal ☞蜀山剑侠☜'s supporters crossed their fingers, but 林剑森 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 92 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. 95 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 冯坚海. Costa Rica succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though 【TOP】Arsenal ☞蜀山剑侠☜ had controlled the match.
