When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Lundin during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Tomas Lundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Rune Nykvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Rune Nykvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elliott Drake's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Nykvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 22 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 吕志磊 who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Honduras's goalie and right to Tomas Lundin. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Honduras's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Lundin in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 吕志磊 in the 28th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 吕志磊 was slow to take the kick. During this time Boom Shaka Laka's players had a chance to rest. 31 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elliott Drake. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Boom Shaka Laka's Elliott Drake. But to his dismay, Elliott Drake quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Boom Shaka Laka's Elliott Drake was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 37th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 42 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 吕志磊 who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Boom Shaka Laka's 吕志磊 to fire away a dangerous shot which Lautaro Navarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Elliott Drake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boom Shaka Laka's Rune Nykvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Boom Shaka Laka from getting a goal against them. In the 58th match minute, Boom Shaka Laka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliott Drake to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Villa might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rune Nykvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Villa ran back to his position shaking his head. When Oscar Wikander fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boom Shaka Laka's protests and gave Oscar Wikander a yellow card for diving instead. Oscar Wikander kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. When Boom Shaka Laka's Elliott Drake in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Boom Shaka Laka booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tomas Lundin came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Boom Shaka Laka fans jumped to their feet. In the 76th minute Elliott Drake shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lucas Sjödin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boom Shaka Laka's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Moises Tafalla scored to the left of an out of position Rune Nykvist, making the score, 2-1. 90 minutes into the game, Boom Shaka Laka's Elliott Drake nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After 93 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo.
