Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Andrea Napoleone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute, Genílson Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Napoleone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flávio de Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flávio de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrão Pereira. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Primitivo Andino made in the 29th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Montenegro. In the 30th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Landulfos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Pedrão Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Landulfos FC's Pedrão Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Landulfos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiaguinho Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flávio de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Landulfos FC's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Landulfos FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Landulfos FC made a substitution. Danilo de Godoi replaced Dedê Fonseca. Landulfos FC's Naldo da Silveira was substituted for Tiaguinho Alagoano. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedrão Pereira to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Pedrão Pereira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedrão Pereira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Landulfos FC's Pedrão Pereira. But to his dismay, Pedrão Pereira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. After 70 minutes of play, Landulfos FC's Pedrão Pereira made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 74 minutes Landulfos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Pedrão Pereira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Landulfos FC's corner Emílio Maciel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrão Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 89th minute. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Flávio de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 94th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
