After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Dino Petricca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After 9 minutes of play, FC ANC's Manole Bordeanu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martin Tudor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Måns Kjellman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Kjellman in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Kjellman in the 20th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, FC ANC's Måns Kjellman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Artemio Quiroga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC ANC fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when FC ANC's Måns Kjellman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Måns Kjellman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Tomas Illescas took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Martin Tudor to make any attempt to save it. In the 37th minute, Måns Kjellman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC ANC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match.

51 minutes into the game, Måns Kjellman lined in a short shot 1-7 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. Måns Kjellman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. FC ANC's Måns Kjellman got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as FC ANC's Måns Kjellman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-8 after 59 minutes of play. Martin Tudor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 62nd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Kjellman in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Måns Kjellman scored 1-10 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Quiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dino Petricca went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-11 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Kjellman in the 82nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Dino Petricca managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC ANC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Petricca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Kjellman in the 86th minute of the match. Måns Kjellman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
