In the 16th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radoslaw Piszczor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play forced Rauschken SSA's goalkeeper Radoslaw Piszczor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Ecuador's Cristian Sancho to fire away a dangerous shot which Radoslaw Piszczor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fryderyk Dobilas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Rauschken SSA's Radoslaw Piszczor. Radoslaw Piszczor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Luis Andino might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radoslaw Piszczor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Andino ran back to his position shaking his head. Wieslaw Gruchacz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After having played for 54 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Fryderyk Dobilas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Fryderyk Dobilas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Rauschken SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Radoslaw Piszczor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beniamin Tobaczewski during the 61st minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Rauschken SSA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rauschken SSA's Radoslaw Piszczor did a great save. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Fryderyk Dobilas came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fryderyk Dobilas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Sebastián Puig charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Sebastián Puig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
