Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hílton Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Ekrot. Vykans Vikingar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Saelices was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Mutumba in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Hermansson in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Ekrot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Ekrot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 42ndth minute of the game Martin Mutumba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Mutumba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Abdi Revis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abdi Revis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Christoffer Johansson replaced Elliott Bogren. Vykans Vikingar were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abdi Revis took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Hílton Souza heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 59th minute, Martin Mutumba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Marcus Ekrot in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Vykans Vikingar's Abdi Revis in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 67th minute Antonio Arias suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 67 minutes into the game, Martin Mutumba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vykans Vikingar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Vykans Vikingar's Eric Van Lint was substituted for Hugo Eden. Martin Mutumba hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Vykans Vikingar's Leonardo Trancoso was substituted for Martin Mutumba. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Leonardo Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Leonardo Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernan Berart hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. If Abdi Revis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ecuador players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
