In the 17thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boom Shaka Laka's Rune Nykvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Lucas Sjödin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Egil Kinnman was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Boom Shaka Laka:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Honduras:s goal. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Lucas Sjödin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 39 played minutes Boom Shaka Laka got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Sjödin. 40 minutes into the match, Boom Shaka Laka's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Rune Nykvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Lundin kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Lundin made a kick off. Rune Nykvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A throw-in in the 58th minute of the game was made by Oscar Wikander with Aurelio Pedroso as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 67 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Rune Nykvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Villa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rune Nykvist was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 83rd match minute, Boom Shaka Laka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Lundin to maneuver through the defense. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes in the game Oscar Wikander did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Aurelio Pedroso. 92 minutes into the game, Oscar Wikander threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The throw-in from Oscar Wikander in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honduras played a much better game than Boom Shaka Laka and deserved their victory. The Boom Shaka Laka players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
