Durval Aparecido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durval Aparecido in the 15th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guilherme Zanette. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Guilherme Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Guilherme Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Durval Aparecido ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After taking down the ball on ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s corner Renan Soares fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Aparecido in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 46th minute of play forced ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s goalkeeper Guilherme Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Luis Cazalla hit a great ball. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Wambasther Sneijder was substituted for Cláudio Caniggia. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s André Luís Zanette was substituted for Durval Aparecido. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, André Luís Zanette left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Guilherme Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute André Luís Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guilherme Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s goalkeeper Guilherme Zanette had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. In the 73rd match minute, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Frodyma to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Radomil Frodyma got a free kick in the 74th minute. 81 minutes into the match, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Guilherme Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Zanette in the 83rd minute of the match. Abram Secada's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Guilherme Zanette skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Ignacio Mastache to score against Guilherme Zanette in ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s goal. 2-3 after 92 minutes. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Belchior Mamatulin was substituted for Wambasther Sneijder. Colombia played a much better game than ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ and deserved their victory. The ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
