Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cenap İğdemir started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, JFSP's Maurício Pires got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute Cenap İğdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of JFSP's Moisés Novaes. Moisés Novaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Baykal Yanal put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Moisés Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 14th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cenap İğdemir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Moisés Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to JFSP getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Maurício Pires hit a great ball. JFSP's Moisés Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cenap İğdemir in the 30th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes, Felix Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the JFSP players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Cenap İğdemir took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. 36 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baykal Yanal. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. JFSP's Moisés Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes JFSP's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 40th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. The supporters of Ecuador booed when JFSP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Pato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Pato kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cenap İğdemir in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Moisés Novaes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Novaes having to interfere. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Moisés Novaes to make any attempt to save it. JFSP's Adalberto Cruz was substituted for Roberto Pato. Cenap İğdemir took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 76th minute Cenap İğdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes JFSP got a freekick which was hit by Baykal Yanal. In the 92nd minute, Maurício Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moisés Novaes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. JFSP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but JFSP were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
