Skånes stolthet!'s Hugo Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 14th minute of play. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skånes stolthet!'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 21st minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timmy Clementsson's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timmy Clementsson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Skånes stolthet! getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Timmy Clementsson hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Skånes stolthet!'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Hugo Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Skånes stolthet! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Korytkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Skånes stolthet!'s goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Hugo Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes, Daniel Zorita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Skånes stolthet! players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Skånes stolthet! booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 played minutes Skånes stolthet! got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Jönsätt. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timmy Clementsson to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Skånes stolthet!'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Skånes stolthet!'s Hugo Bergqvist managed to reach the ball for a save. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Hugo Bergqvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 59 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hugo Bergqvist. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigvard Lange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Hugo Bergqvist made a huge save. With his leg Hugo Bergqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Hugo Bergqvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Skånes stolthet!'s Hugo Bergqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Skånes stolthet! from getting a goal against them. Felix Montenegro had several of the Skånes stolthet!'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Hugo Bergqvist as he didn't even see the shot coming. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hugo Bergqvist could save by the left post. Daniel Zorita did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Hugo Bergqvist 88 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Bergqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Skånes stolthet! fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
