Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaime Pardo kicked off to start the match. Gunnar Hellström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Hellström in the 11th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gunnar Hellström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 16th minute Gunnar Hellström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gunnar Hellström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Diego Tenorio hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Chimpanserna FC's Kurt Almkvist got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 33 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Juan Diego Tenorio. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Gunnar Hellström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chimpanserna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Hellström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Juan Diego Tenorio in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chimpanserna FC's Egon Rudkvist. The audience was convinced that Gunnar Hellström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The supporters of Chimpanserna FC booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Diego Tenorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gunnar Hellström to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Gunnar Hellström made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 54thth minute of the game Gunnar Hellström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Hellström in the 56th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Hector Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Rune Utfal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Hellström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Hellström in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Rickard Wallengren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Gunnar Hellström took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Jacobo Nores to make any attempt to save it. Jacobo Nores was a little too slow when Gunnar Hellström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-3. 77 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Hellström came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunnar Hellström in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hector Covarrubias might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmund Majman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Covarrubias ran back to his position shaking his head. Paraguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Gunnar Hellström scored to the left of an out of position Jacobo Nores, making the score, 0-4. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Paraguay lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
