With an extended leg and a bit of luck Batu Ceylan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Jaime Pardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Batu Ceylan was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in YuSuF's zone, Primitivo Escribano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batu Ceylan came out of the goal and Primitivo Escribano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to YuSuF getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Cenan Soyselçuk hit a great ball. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. YuSuF's Batu Ceylan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, YuSuF's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Covarrubias came free, but Batu Ceylan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Aydemir Taha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. YuSuF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. Batu Ceylan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The YuSuF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paraguay were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Pardo was the one to do the kick off. Hector Covarrubias hit a great ball. The supporters of Paraguay booed when YuSuF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batu Ceylan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes in the game, Hector Covarrubias fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Batu Ceylan having to interfere. Batur Demir hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 84thth minute of the game Jaime Pardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but YuSuF's Batu Ceylan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batu Ceylan having to interfere. Juan Diego Tenorio made in the 96th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hector Covarrubias immediately put the ball in play.
