Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gunnar Hellström kicked off to start the match. Valentino Ferrant hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chimpanserna FC's Sten Godholm got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abram Luque struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Edmund Majman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. In the 37th minute, Gunnar Hellström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 40 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Utfal came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gunnar Hellström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 47 minutes into the game, Chimpanserna FC's Douglas Jakobsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Chimpanserna FC's Gunnar Hellström. But to his dismay, Gunnar Hellström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 61stth minute of the game Gunnar Hellström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Gunnar Hellström sent off a good shot on target. Chimpanserna FC made a substitution. Björn Arvidsson replaced Rickard Wallengren. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Hellström in the 75th minute of play. When Douglas Jakobsson came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Chimpanserna FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Jakobsson couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Jakobsson in the 77th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes Chimpanserna FC got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Almkvist. 81 minutes into the game, Gunnar Hellström lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Ricardo Zorita. Rune Utfal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. After 88 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Abram Luque. The audience was convinced that Gunnar Hellström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. If Rune Utfal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
