Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Dag Anderssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 8 minutes into the match, Kovlands IF's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Leonard Gregersen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonard Gregersen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Dag Anderssen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hans Lilleeng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Lilleeng in the 20th minute of play. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Lilleeng in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dag Anderssen went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Jenssen in the 31st minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Dag Anderssen notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Puig struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Leonard Gregersen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kovlands IF were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hans Lilleeng to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Kovlands IF's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Gregersen came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonard Gregersen. Kovlands IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Puig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Hans Lilleeng succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 62nd playminute. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Leon Jenssen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Dag Anderssen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 83 minutes into the game, Abel Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kovlands IF the free kick. The supporters of Kovlands IF booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute Dag Anderssen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Jenssen. Leonard Gregersen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noah Tømmervik during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Noah Tømmervik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
