Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mai Ang Xi, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. 24 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Mai Ang Xi came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mai Ang Xi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilian Zdraşcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mai Ang Xi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Verzea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Ang Xi in the 44th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Emilian Zdraşcu in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emilian Zdraşcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, 夏天 杨坚 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Mai Ang Xi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilian Zdraşcu was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mai Ang Xi in the 65th minute of play. In the 65thth minute of the game 夏天 杨坚 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 夏天 杨坚 in the 66th minute of play. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilian Zdraşcu. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Facundo Cadaval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilian Zdraşcu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 夏天 杨坚 in the 85th minute of play. Emilian Zdraşcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 88th minute of play. Emilian Zdraşcu came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of -BZF- Fc Gheraseni booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. 夏天 杨坚 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Emilian Zdraşcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 94th minute of play. In the 94th minute, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alberto Tafalla fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Mexico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
