In the 24th match minute, Sabadim Harammes PRD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Bastide to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mauro Cunha came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Xavier Figueroa. But to his dismay, Xavier Figueroa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Herbert Bastide kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Eder Lopes could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Thiago Pliego however easily saved by the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eder Lopes was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Sabadim Harammes PRD getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Eder Lopes hit a great ball. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Boulier in the 54th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Bălăiță in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Mauro Cunha in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 78 minutes of play, Sabadim Harammes PRD's Eder Lopes made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tao Yao Xi in the 84th minute of the match. Herbert Bastide hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Guillermo Fontirroig came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mauro Cunha could save by the left post. A throw-in in the 88th minute of the game was made by Herbert Bastide with Ionel Bălăiță as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Alan Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Carballar. Sabadim Harammes PRD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
