He was immediately shown a red card. 4 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lee Kerr. Clapham Comets F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abraham Alguacil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 11 minutes, Cumhur Tanacan made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Panama's Marcos Cotilla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lee Kerr. Lee Kerr yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Willetts in the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Lee Kerr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lee Kerr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Clapham Comets F.C. booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Kemalettin Torhan got a free kick in the 30th minute. Lee Kerr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulysses Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cumhur Tanacan, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. When Ulysses Madureira came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Clapham Comets F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulysses Madureira couldn't finish the play. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Ulysses Madureira sent off a good shot on target. After 55 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ulysses Madureira who took care of the corner kick. Jonathan Willetts made a great header on Clapham Comets F.C.'s corner, it was just that Panama's Marcos Cotilla managed to reach the ball for a save. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Jonathan Willetts was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ulysses Madureira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. 59 minutes into the match, Ulysses Madureira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Ulysses Madureira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kemalettin Torhan in the 72nd minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cumhur Tanacan in the 75th minute. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Cumhur Tanacan sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ulysses Madureira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 81 minute of play. Ulysses Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Lee Kerr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 94th minute of play. The Clapham Comets F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Clapham Comets F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
