After 4 minutes, Epifanio Mannie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wolverine A.C.【LBF】 and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Wolverine A.C.【LBF】 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Mannie to maneuver through the defense. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's goalie prevented a goal. Eliseo Mina scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernabe Benat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernabe Benat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Benat having to interfere. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Domiku in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Åke Wenerdahl was slow to take the kick. During this time Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's players had a chance to rest. Åke Wenerdahl made a great header on Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's corner, it was just that Peru's Rolando Noboa managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 31 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beto Alfaro Moreno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Bernabe Benat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 37th minute of play. Eliseo Mina scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernabe Benat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 41 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Moises Gayoso. 46 minutes into the match, Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Bernabe Benat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Bernabe Benat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 53rd minute of play. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Emanuel Ståhlberg made in the 86th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Beto Alfaro Moreno however managed to control. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Bernabe Benat made a huge save. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Emanuel Ståhlberg made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. In the 90th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Antonio Tenorio hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Bernabe Benat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Peru had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
