In the 23rd match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luz Tejedor to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Sotelo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Robustiano Gelmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robustiano Gelmiro. Sotelo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to Sotelo AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Traian Nichitelea hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the game, Peru's Eliseo Mina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robustiano Gelmiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 40th minute, Luz Tejedor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robustiano Gelmiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Robustiano Gelmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 51st minute of the match. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Robustiano Gelmiro made a huge save. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robustiano Gelmiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Prats. After 63 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Prats. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cui Liang Yue, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 69 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Bembe came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sotelo AFC's Robustiano Gelmiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Sotelo AFC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Robustiano Gelmiro in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Sotelo AFC's Jimeno Hurko got a free kick in the 80th minute. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. The supporters of Peru booed when Sotelo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Hurko didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Alonso Berganza in the 83rd minute really tested Robustiano Gelmiro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Robustiano Gelmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 85th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Rafael Gallo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Robustiano Gelmiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Sotelo AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
