Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francisco Seco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Przemyslaw Del Piero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Przemyslaw Del Piero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Przemyslaw Del Piero was slow to take the kick. During this time GÓRNIK ZABRZE's players had a chance to rest. GÓRNIK ZABRZE's 江傲坤 was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joaquin Gayoso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 11th minute, Maximiliano Escribano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in GÓRNIK ZABRZE's zone, Maximiliano Escribano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Marciewicz came out of the goal and Maximiliano Escribano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Przemyslaw Del Piero's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After 18 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Przemyslaw Del Piero who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Przemyslaw Del Piero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 18 played minutes GÓRNIK ZABRZE got a freekick which was hit by 江傲坤. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when GÓRNIK ZABRZE's Przemyslaw Del Piero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 28th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Marciewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the GÓRNIK ZABRZE defense, Maximiliano Escribano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florian Marciewicz. The GÓRNIK ZABRZE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florian Marciewicz should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Alberto Gisbert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florian Marciewicz. GÓRNIK ZABRZE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Gisbert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 42 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GÓRNIK ZABRZE the free kick. GÓRNIK ZABRZE's Miromir Domamir was substituted for Domenico Muzzolon. In the 43rd minute, Francisco Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

53 minutes into the match, GÓRNIK ZABRZE's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Florian Marciewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GÓRNIK ZABRZE's Florian Marciewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 65th minute of play. Florian Marciewicz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jaime Cazalla. Fabian Mielak charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Mielak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Uruguay booed when GÓRNIK ZABRZE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kajetan Duszenski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute of the match Erramun Villarreal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso skillfully saved the ball. After 88 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguay and the GÓRNIK ZABRZE players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Maximiliano Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florian Marciewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Jorge Sainz kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Yngve Björklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uruguay played a much better game than GÓRNIK ZABRZE and deserved their victory. The GÓRNIK ZABRZE players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
