After a rather tough play, Galena Kielce's Tytus Poremba got a free kick in the 6th minute. Zenon Ludwiczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Zenon Ludwiczak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Mateusz Kornecki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Galena Kielce's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Waldemar Zakrzewski in the 19th minute. Galena Kielce's Zenon Ludwiczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Galena Kielce's Mateusz Kornecki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. Zenon Ludwiczak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikolaj Laskowski in the 46th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zenon Ludwiczak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Zenon Ludwiczak made a huge save. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zenon Ludwiczak could save by the left post. Zenon Ludwiczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 67 played minutes Galena Kielce got a freekick which was hit by Tytus Poremba. In the 68th minute, Tomasz Krupa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th match minute, Galena Kielce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliusz Dziatkowicz to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Laskowski in the 71st minute of play. Zenon Ludwiczak made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Zenon Ludwiczak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 79th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galena Kielce's Wincent Borczak was substituted for Mikolaj Laskowski. Wincent Borczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Zenon Ludwiczak made a huge save. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincent Borczak in the 93rd minute of play. The Galena Kielce players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
