Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Brannik's İslam Hirfanlı started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Stefan Pierson made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 10th minute of the match Brannik got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rich Keith ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Brannik's Rickie Garcia getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Rickie Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Byron Tanner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Brannik booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Eliseo Noboa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st match minute, Brannik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Emerson to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Rickie Garcia scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 2-0. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Rich Keith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brannik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rich Keith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignacio Emerson's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignacio Emerson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Brannik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Emerson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Brannik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Dow to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rickie Garcia in the 45th minute. İslam Hirfanlı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ignacio Emerson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brannik's Casper Bergstrom was substituted for Rich Keith. In the 57th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brannik's İslam Hirfanlı got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 62nd minute of the match Ricardo Dow completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ricardo Dow a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 63 played minutes Brannik got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Dow. 66 minutes into the match, Brannik's goalkeeper Byron Tanner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Puig. When Rickie Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Brannik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rickie Garcia couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Brannik's İslam Hirfanlı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rickie Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute İslam Hirfanlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Brannik's İslam Hirfanlı. But to his dismay, İslam Hirfanlı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İslam Hirfanlı in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Casper Bergstrom hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Brannik players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
